A Mentor Can Help Your Personal Success
What you could learn from having a mentor or being a mentor
If someone you know has ever told you that mentors are a waste of time, you may have dropped the idea of seeking one for self-improvement.
I was privileged to be a mentor so I can provide some insider insight. I share a few of my examples below that may help you decide if you want to consider having (or being) a mentor or a protege.
There are many valuable multi-media resources, self-help books, and coaching courses available for your personal, life, or career growth. As a lifelong student, I appreciate how these resources can be life game changing.
I would never replace other growth resources with the idea of having a mentor. They are two different things, never underestimating the value of self-taught learning for your growth and self-improvement.
At some point, you can want to invest more in yourself to get to the next level of life or work. Then you would want to laser focus and dig deep. A mentor can help you come to a new discovery, and apply in your journey.
A mentor gives attention to you safely without judgment. They can support and encourage you with your growth and goals. Mentors work inter-personally with you to help take you to the next level (in your unique life desires).
